The Hastings coin was struck by the Royal Mint in 2016 to mark 950 years since the famous battle in 1066, and features the unfortunate King Harold with an arrow in his eye. One lucky seller managed to raise as much as £7,300 for the same Hastings coin, proving people are willing to pay exceptional prices for the collectable.

Others are selling the coins for as little as £1.50, although there are listings for the pricier sums of between £1,000 and £2,000.Īlthough, another equally optimistic vendor is attempting to sell the collectable coin for an eye-watering £1,000,000.
